You have to choose which sax you want to play, because there are about fout types!. Alto and tenor are the main types!. Alto is smaller and makes a higher noise, while tenor is alot bigger and makes a really low noise!. The best place to buy one in Yamaha, or Cosmo music!. At Cosmo if you rent it for a year, and then decide to buy it, you get 10% off!. You can buy books and CD's at Cosmo too!. You can get DVDs at your public library and at Sears!. To play a sax you have to work really hard, because it is extremely hard to play!. Www@QuestionHome@Com While I love the flute, the sax is a great instrument!. Selmer is a very good brand, especially for beginners!. Try to buy a basic method book like Standard of Excellence and also think about some lessons to help you get used to the instrument!.
