Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Unfortunately you didn't say how much of his arm is missing!. As far as I know there are no special guitars that an amputee can play!. Guitars need to be chorded and strummed!. Scheck out this website, though http://www!.johndennerrocks!.com/bio!.html If your friend is like that guy he might be able to find a way to play!. If his arm is completely gone, then I'm afraid it might be impossible!. If you have a friend that does play guitar besides him , your friend might be able to employ some teamwork to play the song!. An acoustic guitar can be stringed either way for right or left handers!. So if your friend can learn the chords, then maybe the other guy can strum for him from behind or something!. It might take a little work to figure out how to do it, but Rhinestone Cowboy is not too complicated, so they might be able to pull it off!. I've heard about modified Guitar Hero controllers for amputees But I'm not sure how he could find one or if Rhinestone Cowboy is on any guitar hero games(probably not) You bring up a good issue, though!. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help to your friend, it's a nice thing he wants to do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com As the previous poster says, it makes a difference whether he has part of the arm missing, or if he's missing the entire arm from the shoulder!. If he uses a movable prosthetic arm, he *might* be able to strum with the prosthesis and chord with his good hand!.
