What type of guitar do you play!? acoustic, electric etc, Why do you play that particular one and prefer it over other types!?

I almost always play alone so I have chosen finger picking and as many styles as I can!. I like the acoustic sound and sometimes plug in!. I like Takamines!. I own several, both nylon and steel strings!. I have had several instructors and have had lessons for about 8 yrs!. I currently teach a young man guitar and he is moving along great!. I would recommend that you find an instructor and take lessons if you can and learn to read BOTH notation and tablature!. Www@QuestionHome@Com Yes I play guitar, I enjoy playing both acoustic and electric!. I have a Fender strat, Fender 51, and a fender squier!. But I recommend you learn acoustic!. For come reason, I think it's more sincere!. I like to go to play my acoustic guitar at the beach every saturday evening!. So if I had to choose which one I like more, It's an acoustic!. Their light, you can take them and play them anywhere and it doesn't look kind of strange, and they sound better!. Www@QuestionHome@Com I've been playing for about two years!.I play a Fender Stratocaster!. I like it more than other guitars because you can play just about every genre of music on it!. Its real good guitar for a low price!. I also play a Mitchell acoustic which was my first guitar!. You'll build up your finger strength faster on an acoustic because theres a lot more tension on the strings opposed to an electric which doesn't need the strings that tight!. I'd start with an acoustic (Its cheaper) and learn your chords first!.Www@QuestionHome@Com im starting to learn and im 12 i think acoustic is easier and ive got a yamaha acoustic!. Start with the frets and learn what note is where then learn the chords!. Start with simple ones just buy yourself a book from the local music shop or check stuff out from the internet theres loadds of websites where you can lear guitar chrods and peices of music!. Check stuff out on youtube to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com started playing when i was 14 and play both,i started on electric then got into the acoustic thing,i tend to go for strat shaped guitars find them comfy to play ond more options with them,you have any mates that play!?could get them to show you some basics,you will have to put the time in tho and it wont be an over night thing,but is rewarding,good luck and enjoyWww@QuestionHome@Com Yes, I have been playing about one year!. I play the electric bass!. I started because my church needed a bass player for it's youth group!. It is easier to play and I think it sounds better then an electric guitar!.
