Question: Will the water damage my violin!?
I put some water on a cloth (But not too much) too clean the rosin off the strings and some parts near the bridge!. Will the water damage my violin and the strings!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Water won't damage your violin if you dry it off immediately, since there's a protection coat on your violin!. However, it will damage your violin if you leave it on for ages and ages and let it dry!. That's why cases come with those water systems (humidifiers and dehumidifers) to prevent that stuff from happening!. I don't suggest using water a lot though!.

If you don't wanna use water, find a polish that some stores sell, and a baby cloth (it's a fuzzy, towel-like cloth that's a lot softer than a towel), and wipe off the excess rosin using the baby cloth and then use the polish!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
