Hey RK

So with all these answers, nobody answered your question actually!.

YES!.!.!.!.you can put a Floyd Rose on Jackson guitars AS LONG AS IT IS A FLAT BODY TYPE liek Gibosns SG, Jacksons, ESP etc!.!.!.

Just make sure the person who is doing the job knows his stuff because, once the hole is carved in the body and the intonation is off after installation, throw your guitar in the garbage!.

I installed many for Fenders & Gibsons so I know the rope!.
Just ask the person one simple question and you will know if he has done this or knows about it!.

" Will the intonation be perfect and do you guarantee it !?

Answer : If he tells you that the distance from the fingerboard nut to the 12th fret, is identical to the 12th fret and the bridge saddle!. Then you know , that the intonation is perfect and he knows his stuff!.

There are no other ways to compensate whether is be truss road or whatever!. The exact center is the 12th fret from point A to B!.

Of, and the job costs around $100 to do!. Bear that in mind!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If your guitar has the Jackson Licensed JT580LP then you can replace it with a floyd rose without any wood work, but if you have a fixed bridge, it would be a hassle and very expensive to get it done!. I'd suggest sticking with fixed bridge OR getting a higher end jackson that has an Original Floyd Rose on it already, but those are quite expensive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i dont think so!. but im not sure!.

because i have a floyd rose and there is like a hole where that thing is where u tune on the bottom so ya!. i dont think so!. but u should ask someone at guitar center or somethingWww@QuestionHome@Com

if your just starting out - don't get a whammy bar!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
