Question: Am I getting a good deal on this guitar !?
My physics lecturer at college is willing to sell me an electric guitar of his!.

He "claims" that he hasn't used it!. And truth be told, when I tested it out it did seemed new!.

He said 1500 EC $!. Remember 1 US$ is 2!.67 EC

So that's ~ 561 US$!.

But Keep in mind that some of the extra is in taxes, for shipment!. So even if the amazon one seems cheaper, it may come to the same thing if I ordered it myself!.

It is the typical yamaha black and white guitar!. It also comes with amplifier, gig bag pick etc!.!.!.

Since the whole link will never post properly here, I'll post it like this>

http://www!.amazon!.com

" Yamaha EG-112PF Electric Guitar Kit "

I've been playing for 2 years and I've progressed rather quickly!.

Is this a good deal !?

p!.s!. I consider the advantage of actually being able to physically test the guitar, ( as opposed to the risk of ordering it )!.!.!. as a plus!.

My first guitar was over $1000 and it lasted me 4 years, and that was my FIRST guitar!. With your skill level after 2 years, you should get a better guitar than what the prof is offering!. My advice is to go to a real guitar store!.!.you'll still be able to test the guitars out and possible get some better dealsWww@QuestionHome@Com

Yamahas are okay!. I would never buy a guitar online because even guitars of the same model are different!. They are all made of different pieces of wood and are all a little unique!. If you are getting good vibes from your teachers guitar i would get that, but definitely go to a music shop and test out a **** load of guitars first and find out how much your teachers was originally!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You should just get it at dollar General!. That's where i get a lot of my stuff!. Oh and you can get it in electric and in regular!. For only $75 with an amp and a guitar stand!.

Yamahas are ok, every stratocaster that are made out of alder should do you alright, if you are beginner!.

I do not reccomend to buy guitars from online or order them from factory, because they are not usually well set up (action might be too high, strings might be old, etc)

Starter kits are ok but!.!.!. if you are really going to play for long time!.!.!. I reccomend you buy a Fernandes Stratocaster with Sustainer

it just seems that every stratocaster seems to be same and its bit boring without something to add to!.!.!.

but so far its ok for newbie!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
