Question: Which manufacturer produces the best Les Paul copy!?
Of course no copy is better than an official Gibson!. I have several, but do not want to experiment on them!. Whats people's opinions on a good copy that is most similar to a Gibson in weight, construction, etc!.!. ESPs are way too light and thin to accurately compare!. I want to test out various pickups, string gages, etc!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

every chunk of wood is different!.!.!. what you try on an Epi won't necessarily work out the same on a Gibson - tone wise!. That's one reason why I switched to strats, because I wanted to play with different pickup configs and that's way easier on a strat!. Plus the strat neck fits my hand better than the Paul neckWww@QuestionHome@Com

Epiphone is owned by Gibson so I would assume it would be close!. I am not sure of your price range but Heritage guitars are made in Kalamazoo in the old Gibson plant by the folks that used to work for Gibson!. They are a bit pricey, but less than an original Les Paul!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You pretty much answered your question!. Gibson's the best, and ESP is not far behind!.

But, when it comes to guitars, that little piece of junk you picked up from a garage sale just fits in your hands better than a $7,000 Strat!. There's a guitar out there for everyone, and the price tag has nothing to do with it!. Wasn't that nice, I'll think I'll put that into a song!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
