don't worry about it, it's totally normal!

i'm a flute player, and i have a gemeinhart too!
his name is sebastian :D

most people i know have named their instruments and love them!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not weird!. People often give a personification to an object that is precious to them!. Usually they use the feminine form!. Many ships and boats are referred to as "she"!. Other guys, and myself, have referred to their car as "she"!.

So go ahead, do what you want!.

I think its completly normal!. I call my Altus 'she' or 'her' and my piccolo is 'my baby!.' these instruments are expensive and shouldn't really be called it!
People are just used to it around me!. =) I got the whole band calling their instruments 'she or he' =)
Go for it girl! Www@QuestionHome@Com
