Yellowcard has an electric violinist!. Listen to their album "Ocean Avenue"!. Two songs I really like with good violin parts are Believe and Breathing!.

Apocalyptica is awesome also!. They cover Metallica songs as well as other rock songs, but with four cellos!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well they dont really play with violins they play with Cellos but this band is amazing
