Question: What kind of acoustic guitar do you recommend!?
I happened to stumble on a Takamine EG561C at a guitar store for $200!. I loved this guitar, unfortunately, I dropped it, and now it is constantly out of tune!. A new one costs 5 or 6 hundred!. It seems that Yamaha and Ibanez are recommended frequently as low cost good guitars, however I'm wondering if there is a cheap guitar that is smaller than a dreadnought!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

For Ibanez, check out the AEF30, good guitar probably sells for around $400 in most shops!. The seagull mention above is a good guitar but you wont get a cutaway acoustic electric for less then $500 most of the time!. If you really dont have much money, enjoy the journey of checking all the local shops!. The hunt can be the best part sometimes!.
PS Godin (Seagull's parent company) makes a budget line called Art and Lutherie that is probably the best bang for the buck around!. They do have a parlor and a folk size as well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I picked up a seagull M6 Cedar at long and mcquade for $300!. The company is owned by Godin (a canadian company), and since the guitars arent imported, they are dirt cheap, and VERY high quality! I liked this model because it is lightly lacquered, just enought to protect the guitar (and not take away from it's deep resonant sound)!. It has an exotic wide neck, lightweight cedar body, and folk-guitar sized (I cant stand those huge dreadnoughts!)

every year I bring it back to get set up, and the guitar techs can't put the thing down!.!.!. I always get compliments on this guitar! sounds amazing for the price!.

check out the below link for more reviews (the first poster was overtly critical!.!.!. he loves the guitar, but rated it poorly for some reason!.)
