If alcohol is safe to clean CD's or laptop screens with then it can be used for everything else!. but make sure you wipe all of it off because it's dangerous to swallow!. the only thing alcohol does is get rid of germs!.!.!.!.!.but warning for you!.!.!.don't ever use nail polish remover for important things because it messes the S*** out of glass or anything!. its like using sandpaper!.!.!.!.!.lol!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

It won't damage your mouthpiece at all - I wouldn't put it through the clarinet though, even if it's plastic it could still affect the pads!. A little probably won't do any damage but don't do it again!Www@QuestionHome@Com
