The G340 lists for $299 on Music123!. It uses solid wood construction (spruce top and mahogany sides)!. This will give you a clear warm tone!. Takamine has been around for a while and they have a good reputation for sound and build quality!.

I've been playing since 1971!. I own two Takamine 12-strings!.

it's about 250 but if you're going to spend that much, I'd suggest a Luna (cuz it's prettier) or even better, an Ibanez since it tends to have a better sound!. It may cost a little more, but and electric acoustic (the ones with the built in tuner and have amp capability) are the great since you can hook it up to an amp and play hard core rock songs and then unplug it and play classical!.
