Know your song(s) cold!. Be able to play them in your sleep!. That way, you KNOW you know your stuff and you won't mess up!.

Remember, nervousness and happy excitement create the exact same physical feelings and sensations in your body!. So "redefine" your feelings -- you're NOT nervous, you're all happy and excited at the thought of performing for your friends! The difference is that "nervousness" is thought of as a bad thing, while excitement is a positive energy!. Its a good thing to be a little nervous/excited -- it keeps you focused on what you're doing Now (present moment) and gives you the energy to play!. Channel that focus and energy into your performance and you'll be great!Www@QuestionHome@Com
