Question: What are some decent jazz/broadway songs I could sing!?
I'm auditioning for the chamber jazz choir at my school, and we need to sing two contrasting pieces in the jazz/broadway style!. I'm going to sing "Fly Me To The Moon" for one piece, what would be another, contrasting, selection!? Any suggestions are appreciated!. Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Good choice for the 1st song , here is a suggestion for the 2nd song
which is a classic and is great with altos and tenors in a choir

Ain't Misbehavin'

No one to talk with,
all by myself,
No one to walk with,
but I'm happy on the shelf
Ain't misbehavin' !. !. !.
saving my love for you!

I know for certain,
the one I love,
I'm through with flirtin',
it's just you I'm thinkin' of
Ain't misbehavin' !. !. !.
saving my love for you!

Like Jack Horner,
in the corner,
don't go nowhere,
but what do I care!?
Your kisses !. !. !.
are worth waitin' for
Believe me!

Don't stay out late,
don't care to go!
I'm home about eight,
just me an' my radio!
Ain't misbehavin' !. !. !.
saving my love for you!

[ instrumental verse ]

Hmm, I don't stay out late,
don't care to go!
I'm home about eight,
just me an' my radio!
Ain't misbehavin' !. !. !.
saving my love for you !. !. !.

I'm saving my love for you!

well if you're looking for a well known song try something from Grease, or maybe even Chicago!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you want 'Jazz' and 'Broadway', you could go with 'And All That Jazz' from Chicago!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
