Question: How do I audition for an acting agent!?
Ok so I'm getting ready to go to an audition for and acting agency and I want to be picked!. This is one of the most important things I will ever do!. (In my eyes) And it means a lot to me!. What can I do to stand out fo the crowd!. I have a very good personality, work well with people of all ages, and can memorize relatively quickly!. I'll be doing almost like a cold-read!. They give me a monolouge and I have to memorize it the best I can!. I just want to stand out!. Please help me!. Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

When going to an audition, the biggest thing to overcome is nerves!. Nerves come in many shapes and sizes!. You sound like a very confident person, so nerves may get to you in the form of a personality-overload!. So, the best thing to do is to go into your audition with your headshot and resume (if you have them) ready, put on a warm face and a professional, collected appearance!. The agent wants to feel comfortable while still impressed by your talent!.
Do be overly pushy to perform your work!. Follow what they say!. Appreciate any any advice they give and take it graciously!. STAY CALM! And most importantly, have fun!.
