Question: Strange buzzing noise when I play the violin (read description)!?
I've been playing for 3 years and am pretty good so don't say it's my tone ok!.

Well, suddenly my violin makes a buzzing noise when I play it!. Pizzicato or Arco!. also, when ever I rosin my bow the rosin on my bow seems to stick to my rosin!. It's not very hot out so I have no idea why!.

Does any one have a idea what is going on!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not seeing the instrument, I am going to guess that a fine tuner has been run in to the point that it is touching or nearly touching the top of the violin!. Be sure you back them out from time to time!.
Another thought is the nut which holds the fine tuner in place may be loose!.
As for the rosin!. You may need a harder cake!. rosin comes in hard to soft!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I also had an annoying buzzing sound when I played, but it was because the black metal piece by the chin rest was touching the string!.!. and it would cause it to make that sound every time I played!. I just gave it to m teacher and he fixed!.!. but I am not sure how!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it could be a button on your shirt or a necklace!. There are many things that can cause buzzing!. Check to see that all your strings are good and not unraveling!. also check the chinrest to see if it loose!. If all fails then go ask your instructor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
