Question: Violin RCM grade 9 level, some suggestions plz!!!!?
Hi,
I just got my Grade 8 RCM certificate for violin this year!.
and because of some unfortunate reasons, I can't take lessons anymore!.!.!. :(
so since I'm an intermediate now, I want to sorta teach myself the violin!. and my goal is to get into the univeristy orchestra maybe next year!
Could you check if these are good for my level!? (RCM grade 9 now)
and if you could suggest more pieces or practice materials for this level, that'd be great! :)

Viotti, Concerto 22
de Beriot, Concerto 9, or 7
Bruch g minor Concerto
Wieniawski concerto
Tartini Sonata in g minor
Faure Sonata in Em, Elgar Sonata in Em, and Franck Sonata in A
Paganini: Le Streghe,Variations on I Palpiti, Variations on God Save the King
Variations on a them of Correlli in the Style of Tartini
de Sarasate: Ziegeunerweisen
Ravel:Tzigane
Ernst: Variations on The last Rose of Summer, Adagio Sentimentale, Erlkonig
Wieniawksy: Legende
Vitali: Chaccone
Bach partitas and sonatas

and some suggestion on what kind of pieces and how I should practice please~ Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Continue to play the music you have studied!. Work on each phrase of the piece!. Listen to recordings and listen for what is going on other than just the notes!.
For everyday practice that will help keep you polished and keep your ear, play Vivaldi Concertos!.
As to getting into the University Orchestra!. Contact the University now and ask about the requirements, and if they have anyone who can help you between now and next year!.
Get back to those lessons as soon as possible!.
