Get a Takaminie for that price!. You will be investing in a good sounding and well made guitar!.
The finish, the durability, the sound and the playability are all strong points!. Plus, it rarely needs any adjustment as it is well set at the factory!.
I used to set them for Takamine factory and for the money, its a good buy and it has a good resale value as well!.

As for Ibanez, the quality of the wood is way inferior than what is used on a Takamine!.

Your choice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

go with an Ibanez PF about 250 to 299 and a nice guitar for the price, had one of the older ones without the pickups, but my kid knew better than to touch my D55 guild so I guess he got himself a nice old PF instead of broken fingers, but that's as far down the line as you should go for a decent guitar, anything under 250 is usually junk or luck, and that doesn't include amp! try and avoid the beginners packs with there whopping 5 amp amps and toys are us guitars that will be destined for your next yard sale, however if you and your church group are tone deaf and you have fingers of iron go ahead and get one of those Chinese Fenders all the girls rave about, $199 and see which bleeds first your ears or your fingersWww@QuestionHome@Com

Well, Ibanez has acoustic electric guitars that don't run too much!. Fender has a few that around your price range!. Dean also makes a model or two in that range!. My advice is to look online at a site, (Sam Ash, Music 123, Musicians Friend, etc) and see what you can find there!. Once you get the guitar picked out that you like, head on over to harmony-central!.com to see if that guitar is reviewed well!. If so, then it's a pretty safe buy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
