Question: Where is a good place to find locals who may be interested in helping write/act/produce a comedy show!?

There are a few of us interested in putting together a comedy show!. Is there some type of website online where I could find people interested in writing for the show and just in general putting it together!? This is kind of new to me but we would like a few more people involved to make it great!. Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

if youre young, i'd say youre school!. if yorue not young, i'd say someone elses school or the local community college!. I had some friends who started a sketch comedy club at UVA and now theyre really famous!.( you should look them up, theyre called the whitest kids u know, and theyre pretty big on youtube and i think they even have their own tv show now)!. However, when i was in high school, i was on the improv team and we decided that we should take some of the people in the group (who happened to be funnier) and make some sketches to videotape, and just kind of rehearsed skits to perform before improv shows!. We were already a bunch of funny actors, so it just kind of came together like that!. I guess it also helped that we all went on to go to really good schools as writers and performers (yale harvard MIT USC princeton and stanford included!.!.!.wow it was like a supergroup come to think of it), but really i think the thing people liked the most was seeing things theyre friends had written!. then friends start brigning their friends and everyone finds it hilarious!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would say craigslist!.org!. It's how i've got involved in many of musical events in my area that i would have never known about!. However, its not just for musicians, but for all the community concerning performing arts!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
