Question: Playing the guitar!.!.!.!.!.!.!?

I just bought a guitar today got no idea how to play it , tune it or anything

Are there any websites to learn about the basics just how to play it

first, invest in a DVD and a book!. they are cheap and it just easier to see something on a big screen than reading about it or seeing a small, blurry video on the internet!.

second, invest in pitch pipes!. they are under $10 and its the best way to tune your guitar and build you ear at the same time!. each pipe (looks like a pan pipe!. usually plastic) it tuned to the correct pitch for each string!. play the note and adjust the string to match the note!.

third, if you can, find someone who knows how to play and see if they can give you pointers!. hold things correctly and can guide you in the right direction!.

last, the guitar requires physical skill that no one is really born with!. its something you learn!. don't be discouraged that it may take time for you to get where you want to be as far as guitar playing is concerned!. let me know if you have any questions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

if ya gots a webcam i can give ya some pointers and stuff and it wont cost ya a thing but i would advise ya to invest in a tuner!.Actually playing the guitar only takes dedication to learning how!.it may take some time but it is worth all the practise you will have to put in and the sore fingers you will have to endure at first:) send me an email if you are interested okWww@QuestionHome@Com
