Question: How Often Should I Change My Violin Strings!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Depends on how much playing and practicing you do, and how often you can afford to pay $30 - 40 or more on a new set of strings!.

I change mine about once a year -- or when the windings on the A string start to come unraveled -- whichever comes first!.

Violin strings don't seem to need changing as frequently as guitar strings do, in my experience!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hey Kimmi

If you play often, change them every month!. If they are good quality gut strings, you can keep them for a couple of months!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I had a viola and they were fine for a year for me, anyway!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
