Question: What would be a good audition song for Beauty and the Beast!?

Im auditioning for the musical Beauty and the Beast in a few months and i want to get to work on an audition song!. I plan on auditioning for the part of the Beast, which is a rich, baritone voice!. Any suggestions!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't sing Music of the Night! It's very overdone and also not suitable for that role - while the voice type is similar, the style is wrong!. Look for another Alan Menken song - he wrote the music for BATB and you're always best to find another song by the same composer but from a different show wherever possible!. He's written a lot of good songs so see what you can find that you like!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe "Santa Fe" from Newsies!.!.!.but that's more like tenor, rather than baritone!.!.!.and it might not have the right feel for the Beast!. But I would look into more Alan Menken music!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
