There are lots of different online guitar lessons, that's just one I threw in that looked like it had some OK stuff on it!.

I'll give you a basic crash course!. Your 6 strings from largest to smallest,
Top to bottom are E(low),A,D,G,B,E!.(high)

the !st fret is the fret closest to the head stock (tuners) and they go up from there!. The 12th fret is one OCTAVE higher!.

"#" means SHARP which means one step(or fret) higher than a note and "b" means FLAT which is one step or fret lower than a note!. For instance A# (A sharp)-is also Bb (B flat) both are one the 6th fret on the Low or high E string!.

The notes in a musical scale are E, F, F#, G, Ab, A, Bb ,B, C, C#, D, D# is one octave of notes!. That is on the two "E" strings
Each string does the same thing!. you start from the Base note of the string and then list them up, for instance the A string would go A,Bb,B,C,C#,D,D#,E, F,F#, G, etc!.

That should help a little

Yeah, I play electric guitar, you asking quite a lot, and it's kinda hard to explain, also there are a lot of notes, I suggest you invest in a book and learn the guitar that way, I know someone who taught themselves the guitar that way, if you can't you can probably find out somewhere on the internet!.
Sorry, wish I could teach you but it's too complicated in writing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
