Question: My guitar tone sounds like it's vibrating!?
when i pluck a note high up on the neck, on one string, from the 10th-22nd frets, it sounds like I'm stood under a fan, or i'm shaking the whammy bar!. I think it's the back pickup cause my friend messed with it lowering and raising it!. What could be wrong!?!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sounds like your guitar needs a setup and intonation!. If it was the pickups, the sound would either be muted or make a buzzing noise!. Do this - fret the highest fret you can (ie, 22nd, 24, etc)!. If there is very little space between the string and the pickup then it could very well be the pickup!. Lower it a smidge and go on with your life!. Otherwise, either google or youtube "guitar setup" as the other answerer suggested!.

Could be the bridge, or it could need new strings!.

Sometimes when strings get old when you play at about the 12th fret or higher it's horribly out of tune and the tone kind of vibrates!.

If it sounds like you're going crazy with the whammy bar then it's not the strings lol Www@QuestionHome@Com

Its probably your bridge or its messed up, open the back and see whats wrong!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
