This happened to me with my mellophone the other day (same idea)!. First, make sure that the valves are corresponding to the correct valve slot place (1st in the 1st slot, etc!.)!. Then what I did was unscrew one of the valves, and put it back in, but not screw it into place!. Then I just sort of turned it in a circle slowly (not screwing it in though, turning the whole valve) until it sort of "clicked" and felt like it was in the right place, like the holes in the valve were lined up with the tubing, and screwed it on!. I did that for all three of them, and it worked again!. If it's still not playing right, or it's hard to get air through, it's not fixed and you should ask your director or someone at a music store for help!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

different instruments are marked differently!. Get it to the repair shop or to you teacher!. Don't fool with it!. You are not likely to damage it, but you could!.
In the future make sure you check before taking out a valve and never take out more than one at a time!.
