Question: How do you get a music scholarship!?

I`m a sophomore now but plan on being a professional musician!. What do I need to do to get a music scholarship!? And what exactly is it!? I recently found out about them and want to know how I can get one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Talk to your guidance counselor!.
Find out which schools you would be interested in attending!.
Contact (Write) there music department for Scholarship information!.
You do not normally send anything until you know what they want!.
A scholarship can be anything from paying for part of your classes to a Full ride which is all tuition, books, room and board plus a little expense money!. The Full Ride is not as common as it used to be!.
In exchange for the scholarship you must get decent grades and participate in certain activities!. Sometimes they even include working at the school!. There is a very wide degree of scholarships!.

I have a friend who goes to Burkley School of Music in Boston!.

The best way to do it is contact the school showing your intrest and then try to send in a video of your origanal music or something like that!.

First step is contact, either by email, personal visit, or phone call!.
