HI there Aung,
You dont say what the name brand of the flute you saw was because that will make a difference!. YOu don't want one of the chinese brands that are sweeping the world as these instrument are very cheap, and cannot compete with the recognized name brand flutes!. It is always a concern, I mean finances!.!.!. and sometimes parents cannot afford one of the new flutes!.!.!.!. but you don't have to have a new flute to have a good flute!. :))

Why not just look for a good name brand, even if it is used!.!.!. better if it is used because your parents will save about 1/2 of what they would spend on a new flute!.

Name brands for new or USED:

Yamaha
Gemeinhardt
Emerson
Pearl
Armstrong
Selmer

And that is about it!. Don't think about the Trevor James!.!.!. as even though people think it is made in England!.!.!. it isn't!. It is made in one of the third world countries just like the Monique and is of poor quality!.!.!. according to woodwind repair techs who have to and hate to work on them!.

Where can you get used flutes!? CraigsList!.org in or close to your city / the Community bargain paper / the local news paper / rent one from the music store / pawn shop or contact me!.!.!.!. I can put you in touch with someone who has a decent flute!.

Thanks for reading!.
Hope I was able to help

I suggest you buy one of those plastic recorders!. If you master that then you can move on to a flute!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
