Question: Guitar question how do they get this sound in the intro!?

im writing a song and the way it is played is similar to tthe guitar intro in underoath writings on the wall!. i dont know how to get that sound on my guitar!? listen to it on youtube!. search it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Its just a little distortion in it!. If you have an amp turn up the gain part of it till it gets distorted!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
