Question: Can you give me some piano tips anyone!?
People say that I should keep my fingers curved as if I'm holding a ball, but I've seen plenty of amazing pianists playing straight fingered!. I've also wondered about my wrists!. My teacher keeps nagging me about how I keep making my wrist too low!. Anything that will help me improve is good!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

haha my teacher always yells at me that my wrists are too high!. the whole part with curving your fingers just lets you move faster across the keys, but its also personal preference!. some people just play better with straight fingers!. as for you wrists, you want to keep them pretty straight, not too high, not too low!. but its really hard to get that perfect so dont stress about that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

curved fingers is maybe the hardest thing to learn in piano!. after more than a decade of practice i never really picked it up!. just keep those elbows out, shoulders down and relaxed, and concentrate on your fingers not going flat!. scales are good practice for this!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i usually play with the back of my hand parrallel to my arm so my wrist is straight!.
also my fingers are slightly curved!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

if you keep your wrist too low you might hit some wrong keys!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
