know your basics first!. like vocal health!. try googling it!. it'll save your life for further down the line (throat surgery, etc!.)

never sing from the throat!. that ruins the vocal chords and can sometimes cause the nasally sound!. Instead suspend your rib cage up, relax shoulders and you should sing using your diaphragm muscle!. after you sing a piece it should feel like you did 100 crunches!. lol your soft pallet (which if you touch with your tongue in your mouth is that soft spot on the roof of your mouth going towards your throat - kinda squishy) needs to be as open as possible!. It should feel like your stuffing an entire apple in your mouth!. raise the pallet and your thoat will be open, giving a nice supported sound!. raise your eyebrows too when you sing cause it helps you from going flat on the note!. when you sing a note, there is something called your "vocal mask" and its in the area between your nose and going up towards your forhead!. there should be a tone your producing through that area!. it should kind of make you feel light headed at first!. if you don't sing with good support from the diaphragm up, open throat, and towards vocal mask, it will give that nasally sound!.

hope this helped!. sorry it might be confusing!. lol

i'm a vocally trained singer so !.!.!.yeah!.

Too much tremolo is often the problem with unfinished singers, especially female ones!. This may not help but it's all I can offer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
