Question: Expert lead guitarist's help wanted!.!?

I bought a guitar in march of this year and thought i could just memorize tabs and be good but i would like to learn the scales and modes!. I am familiar with the minor pentatonic and blues scale ( i think lol) and i know about the modes: ionian dorian prygiean and so on but i would like to learn what frets they cover on the fret board in any given key!. Leave an answer or add me as a friend either or thnx!.

look at www!.alll-guitar-chords!.com and click on scales!. learn pentatonic minor first!.!. it has 5 patterns, boxes!.!. the site will show you the scale in any key and shows the whole fretboard!. you should also be able to seperate the scale down so you can see 5 patterns and connecting runs between!.what you will find is that your learning shapes!. and the shapes move up or down the fretboard!. to change from the ionain to the dorian you simply put the root note in a different place in the scale that you learned!.!.!.!. there is only 5 patterns!.!. and that info is free!.!.!.lol !.!.!. thank me laterWww@QuestionHome@Com
