How can i get to be a good guitarist?

Question: How can i get to be a good guitarist!?

Im 15 and Im wodering, Is it ok to start at this age with music, or am I to old!? I once had a music teacher that told me that I had talent and a very fine musical ear!. what do I have to do to become really good at it!?
