1!. This will be his second year!. He's the third one we've had in three years!.

2!. Eight in band, two in marching band!.

3!. Tuba in marching and concert and trumpet in jazz!.

4!. The concert band is divided up into two divisions: The Wind Ensemble and the Repertory Band!. The Wind Ensemble is like an honors band for the better and more experienced players!. There are about forty or fifty in each, I think!.
In marching band, there are about thirty or forty musicians and 20 Color Guard people!.

5!. There was a girl tuba player who graduated and now there is a female trombone player!. There is another girl euphonium player who is concert band but not marching band!.
There is a girl trumpet player and there was a girl mellophone who graduated!. Those aren't low brass, but they're still brass!.

6!. Well we haven't started the one this year but I like the music so far!. It has three movements and it's called Nightwatch!.

7!. Our band has three now!. We had two last year!.

8!. I guess I'm kind of one now since I'm the oldest in my section, but it's not really designated!.

I was in marching band in high school and recently graduated (07)!. Sorry if I don't qualify!.

1!. I had 2 band directors!. My first one was there freshman to junior year!. (He was there a total of 6 years!.) The band director my senior year just left this summer (after 2 years) to pursue a higher degree!.

2!. 14 years

3!. I marched clarinet and trombone in high school, but I play basically any wind instrument (minus horn lol)!.

4!. It dwindled from 80 to around 40 when I graduated!. This year it has about 30!?

5!. When I was captain my senior year, 5 of the 8 were girls!. Not sure how it is now, but I doubt it's changed that much!.

6!. I loved my senior year show because it was an abstract theme!. We also did a show based on Saturday morning cartoons, which was fun because it had the audience laughing!.

7!. We always had 2 (basically because of tradition)!. When I left it got cut down to 1!.

8!. I was a section leader for 3 years: 2 on clarinet and 1 on trombone/baritone!.

9!. No, I didn't, and I wish my school had had a winterguard because I think that would have been fun!.

10!. Our school has a rival because we were the first two built in the county way back when!. As for band, no not really!. We're the smallest band in the county and the only one in our class, so there wasn't exactly anyone to "compete" against!. A lot of kids in the band come from out of district though (magnet program), so they have "mini-rivalries" with the people their district, you know friends they had in middle school!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
