Remember that the clarinet is a transposing instrument, so I'll give you the both the written pitch and concert pitch:

The lowest note written is E, the space below 3 ledger lines below the treble clef staff!.!.!. in concert pitch, this is a D3 (the D below middle C on the piano)!.

The highest note, is a written D, 6 ledger lines above the treble clef staff!.!.!. in concert pitch this is a C7 (the C 3 octaves above middle C on the piano)!.

You can play higher, but at that point it gets iffy!.!.!. even the great virtuosic players stay away from those high notes when they can! LOLWww@QuestionHome@Com
