iv'e heard this is a good guitar, but how good!. would it hold it's retail value longer than a g-400!? also is one with a whammy bar have any problems and is it rare!?

The Sg 400 is the low end and there is no way that guitar will get any value soon!. You have better change with the SG 61 on account of its finish, its playability!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The Gibson SG-61 is a great guitar - I think the Epiphone is just a G-400 with the thinner 60's neck!. (they have a history of cracking easily) The Gibson has the 57 pickups - I don't know about the Epiphone!. All the ones with whammys are rare!.
