Question: Those familiar/experienced with modeling!?
I'm looking for tips on modeling for a photo shoot - preferably from those experienced with modeling, or that photograph models!. I'm going to do a photo shoot to send in for review by a company and want it to be all it can be - but I've never modeled before! If you've modeled nude, tips on that would help too!
Please no flack about how much you despise nude modeling, and yes, I'm positive the company is legitimate!
Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hello - I am here to help!. I am both a model and photographer, so I have a few tips to share!.

First of all, it would be really helpful and wonderful if you could spend a little outside time with the photographer you are going to work with!. This will help you be a little more comfortable being around this person, and believe me it will show in the photos!. If you are nervous or tense, you will not smile like normal, or also place your body in weird positions that just don't look natural!. So, it would be great to sit down with the photographer and let him get a sense of who you are, and this will help your images to come out better!.

Next - posing!. Posing for people who have never modeled is such a hard concept to understand!. Placing your hands and legs in different positions seems weird to those who never have to do it!. But here are a few tips!.!.!. Never place your L & R hands in the same place!. Like if you place the L hand on the Left hip, do not place the R hand on the Right hip!. It makes you look symmetrical!. It works better to place one hand on the hip and the other a little lower like on the thigh!. Head on, straight shots look like MUG Shots!. Always place your head in a different direction than your shoulders, and also place your hips in another direction!. In many cases I did not feel confident about the shots unless I was posed in a correct way, and I could feel that it was a perfect angle for my body!.

Make up - don't be shy to put make up on darker!. Not thicker! Darker!. Most photo sessions including studio type work, you are going to be under bright lights and this may wash out the make you do have on!. Especially blush, and mascara!.

Otherwise you should hope that this Photographer you are working with knows what they are doing!. They are hoping to sell you photos, so trust in their expertise!.

Last of all, feel free to take a look at this web site www!.famousangie!.com that was a shoot I did with a photographer and he placed them online!.

Oh and yes, you could also study some models photos - a good place to see a big variety, even nudes is One Model Place, not sure of the exact address!. But you might even see some photograhers you want to work with, and you can do what is called Trade For Photos!. They don't pay you for the shoot, and you get the photos for free!.

Ok, one more thing!.!.!.!. be careful who you go and take photos with!. There are a lot of creepy guys out there who claim they are a photographer just because they have a little point and shoot digital camera!. Ask a lot of questions, and if you can, never go to a shoot alone, take a friend or boyfriend!.

Play some music you like and start out with the lights low!. Get into the musci and just take off what you dare, when you want!. Don't think about anything except the musci and you're feelings!. Practice posing in front of a morrow, wearing anything you fell like yoruself in!. Watch how you're expressions change with the music and note which ones are flattering!.
Good Luck and relax!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
