Is it common to not get a notice if you failed the vocal audition?

Question: Is it common to not get a notice if you failed the vocal audition!?

We were all given a grueling rehearsal schedule but it seems that the losers have not been informed and the first rehearsal is next week!.

Depending on the number that auditioned, it might be difficult to contact all, who were not accepted!. It would be appropriate to ask for a list of those who were accepted!.
