use the most meaningful part of your poem to create a chorus!. and you might want to think of bridge!.

after you think of a good chorus!.!.!. then comes the music!. i dono maybe just hum melodys!. but you said writing a song not music!. so theres a tip :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Do you write music!? Sometimes its easiest to start out with a chord progression!. From there, you may start to hear melody in your head, or at worst!.!.!.you can adapt a melody to fit the chords you created!. Once you have established a melody, start to write lyrics about anything thats on your mind!. They don't even have to rhyme! You would be surprised to find out how many songs don't even have rhyming lyrics!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Keep it simple, dont think to hard about it!. That is in rock in roll or pop music!. But if your into real hip-hop and not nimrod brain dead southern rap!.!.!.then think very hard about it!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
