I started playing 2 years ago, and didn't pay attention to it until this year, and!.!.!.!.I feel like I'm not good enough like the rest of my friends!. D: I don't understand chords so I go by tabs, is that cheating!? I don't know if i'm good or not for my level, what's the best way to get good at guitar, and fast!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Tabs aren't cheating but it's good to know the names of chords!. Get a chord chart to post on your wall and spend 15 minutes studying it everyday!. also, learning the notes on the strings and what makes up chords also helps!. Give it 90 days!. It takes about two months to fully learn something!. The problem with a lot of beginners is that they rush through everything!. Be paitent!. As for people being better then you, it happens!. For every hobby, sport etc, there will alway be someone better then you but you can't think about that!. You have to think your the best!. It doesn't matter how long it's been since you picked up the guitar, it matters how much you practice!. And that, in my opinion, makes up your level!. Right now you probably should be practicing about an hour to two hours everyday!. Spend a lot more time on technique then learning songs for now!. Once your techinque is down songs will be so much easier!. And if it's really getting to you that your friends seem better then you just remember why you picked up the guitar in the first place!. :) Hope that helps!.Www@QuestionHome@Com You can;'t learn guitar so fast!. but take videos on line!.
