I've been playing piano since I was five!. My mom bought me some piano books, taught me about the grand staff, showed me which notes were what, and let me figure the rest out on my own!. I'm glad my mom did that, because I've learned that I can do anything I set my mind to and I can find things out for myself if I put in the effort!. I love piano! I'm sure you would, too!

However, I love listening to guitar!. I am also considering learning how to play it!. I hope that if I do decide to learn how, I will be able to gain a lot from it, as I have from piano!. It seems fun and entertaining to play guitar, so if you want to, go for it! I mean, who doesn't like to listen to guitar music!?

Overall, it's totally up to you! Which do you prefer the sound of and which would be more convenient for you!? If you want to learn an instrument, you'll probably enjoy it!. Just think about it and decide which one you are more interested in!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would normally say guitar straight away, but because you can read music, piano will be easier than for most people!.!. um, guitar is good because you can a lot more things that are "mainstream" and modernly popular!.!. but piano is a greater feat i'd say, and because you can read music, will be a breeze to learn!.!. oh ya, guitars are portable and cheaper tooWww@QuestionHome@Com

As a teacher of both piano and guitar, I would say guitar is your best bet for teaching yourself!. However, if you are serious about spending a lot of time practicing, it would be worth a few lessons or at least hooking up with an experienced player for a bit to avoid developing bad habits!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stringed instruments and horns or reed instruments have different notation!. If I were You the Piano will teach you music theory and notation and then the guitar later will be easier than butter to learn!. Good luck and have fun!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
