What is the main difference between the Standard and Custom!? everyone says it is a huge difference (besides the price)

Both guitars are beautiful except the custom model has an ebony fingerboard!. You pay the price for that type of fingerboard because it is the most expensive wood to use on a guitar!.

The Standard has a rosewood fingerboard and may have a little more sustain but the ebony fingerboard, has a pure tone and will outlast any type of wood over the next 100 years!.

Another final difference is that, the custom has a set neck and not a bolt-on like the standard!.
With that equation, the custom will defintely sound like a Gibson Les Paul Custom which sells for double that price!.

Edit!.!.!.!.My bass player uses a Schecter 5-string bass!.Awesome punch!. We got a deal in a usic store for $250, second hand but in mint condition!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
