Ways that I do, because before I go on, I get nervous and then when I start and go on I get rid of it!.
Ways I do it is by imagining that no one else is there and I'm the only one!.
also, you could close your eyes, but don't keep them closed the whole time!.
I also don't always see the audience because of the spotlight!.
Another way to do it is by performing like there's no tomorrow!.
Just go out there and do your thing!. Show them what you got and why there performing!.
I hope this helped!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Look at a point above the people your singing to!. This also helps to make your voice louder by opening up your throat before!. Practice singing in front of your family and friends!. also, if you know the directors of the musical ask if you can practice once in front of them especially if they can play the accompiament!. This means you'll have at least one friendly face out there!. Another good thing to do while singing is to have motions ready so that they can't tell if you're hands are shaking!. Talk to friends and keep yourself distracted right before the audition so that you can't get your nerves worked up!. I always move around a little before the audition to help me relax and just shake off the tenseness!. Lastly, remember auditioning is not the end of the world!. If you mess up don't stop trying!. Keep auditioning!. The more you try it, the more comfortable you will be!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

start out small, like your own personal audience!. also, try out your local open mic nights!.!.!. it's tough to get over it at first, and sometimes you just might NOT get over it, but you'll learn how to go along with it!. I speak from experience, I play classical music (ummm, not so relevant with singing) and it's tough to keep calm and still play well in front of a large (and musically educated) audience!!!

it takes time and practice, but you'll be able to do it!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

you have to RELAX !.
relaxation is key (:
when you dont want to do it!.!.!.
just force yourself !.
if you know what i mean, lol !.
just think something terrible is going to happen if you dont !.
and just force yourself to walk out there !.
RELAX,RELAX, AND RELAX !.
hope you get over your stage fright, because you could be really good !
hope i help, even if its not much ! ;DWww@QuestionHome@Com

When you sing in public, try looking at an area and not directly at people!. Think about how confident you are and pretend you are on stage alone!. Sing as though your life depended upon your voice!. That will help you to get started and soon, you will be able to sing easily!. I wish you luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
