Two ways to go - amp and speaker in one unit (combo amp) or separate (head and cabinet)!. Go with a combo amp for now!.

Your choice of amp will depend on what sound you want and how much you're willing to spend!. Fender tends to be preferred for cleaner blues and jazz, Marshall tends to be better for rock and metal, and some amps like Vox or Line 6 can sound a little bit like either!.

My advice is to go to a music store that has a selection of amps and try a couple out, to see what you like!.

for a begginer, all you need is a small practice amp
those are the small ones
i went to guitar center and i got myself an amp with my guitar, i got a fender amp, it sounds good, for like 75 dollars, you wont need more than thatWww@QuestionHome@Com

a good starter amp are vox or epiphone!. they are small single amps!. or as we call them practice amps!. i advise u to ALWAYS UNPLUG A VOX!. you may blow practice amps easy so always take proper care!. play at a low level!. you know when that is nessesaryWww@QuestionHome@Com

if you're a beginner, try buying small amps first!. when you get better, you can buy a better amp!. i'd recommend a Fender amp!. you don't need to worry if it will have any problems coz Fender's the best!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
