I had a pit bull with the same problem!. It began when she was 10 months old, and lasted until I had her fixed--about 2 months later!. During that time, her belly swelled up, her glands started producing milk!.!.!.it was the strangest thing! She even carried around her squeeky toys, thinking they were her babies!. I seriously thought she would need some kind of pet "shrink," but after her surgery, she was OK in about a week!. She just went back to acting "normal!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

Why on earth ask that in [Performing Arts]!?!?!?!?!? It SHOULD be in [Dogs]!.

Gestation can be any length from 58 to 66 days, with 61 to 63 days the norm!.!.
So, regardless of the bit!.ch's age, there are 2 answers:
(1) Long enough to prove that it wasn't false!.
(2) Long enough to prove that it was false!.

If you are worried about which answer fits, get the vet to use an ultrasound scan or an xray to see what's happening inside her!.
Trained fingers can feel the "golfballs" of their sacs at day 28!.

I have NEVER had a bit!.ch undergo a false pregnancy, yet some people consider it certain to happen every time their bit!.ch isn't mated!.
