people say that if u start with classic guitar itll help u more and electric will become easier, but i think no that effects u alot i didnt start with classic and im doing fine with electric, but heres the thing if u wanna start learning how to play dont get a guitar that sux, cause itll do u bad in ur playing!. the sound well be worng, now it depends what kind of music u wanna play!. if u dont wanna play with electric then try Gibson!. if electric all genres - fender , metal - Jackson or ibanez there are alot, ask for help from the store that ur gonna get ur guitar cause it depends on wt genre and price and alot of things plus u need to get a good amplifier too!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hey there!.!.!.

You can check out the Epiphone starter pak or the Squier combo pak!.
Both sell around te $225 area and both are fairly good!. I prefer the epiphone for its fat sound and nice sustain aside its nice rock sound!.

The Squier is good but more treble and not as punchy as the Epiphone!. also, the neck and finish are not as good as Epiphone as well as the intonation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

for me it was better to start out with acoustic but if you really want to play electric i would suggest for you to get any Epiphone guitars for they are good quality and low priced
and a $99 raven amp!.!.!. and buy it from the Guitar CenterWww@QuestionHome@Com

Go with an acoustic when you're starting out!. It'll give you a better feel for the guitar than the electric and develop your callouses faster!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I play Elecric Guitar and I started playing electric firstWww@QuestionHome@Com
