Question: How do I get the squeaking on my tin whistle to stop!?
I've been trying to learn how to play the tin whistle!. I blow hard, it squeeks!. I blow softly, it still squeaks!. How to I fix my technique!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Make sure your fingers are covering the holes totally!. Ease up on the air on the lower register, and speed up the flow on the upper register!.

But it sounds like your fingers just aren't over the holes entirely!. Air slips out and causes a squeak/squeal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Slow down your air speed!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and speed it up slightly on the upper octavesWww@QuestionHome@Com
