patrick r has a point, there used to be great black singer song writers, seal, terence trent darby, eddy grant, sam cooke,the list goes on, why do the brothers now only do unmusical cussing!?also g man do had a very good point theres loads of great music out there, we've got a local pub that has live singers/bands every sunday afternoon and it rocks!. treat yourself to a musical magazine like,Mojo, Uncut andthe like they keep you up to date with really good emerging new bands!. also you will be pleasantly surprised at how awesome "world music" is, the magazine "songlines" has loads of info in that area!. keep looking, keep trying and you'll find something you really like, all the best!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We are living in a different era, this is the future, music has evolved and it was destined to do so!.

also, music can capture the memories of moments, events and feelings that take place in your life during that period, which in time are inevitably enhanced and blow up out of proportion mentally!.
I think many people are still urning to have that same experience again, sort of like chasing the dragon, you can never get that same buzz again!.

I don't agree!. Music is not mostly crap these days!. You are just fixed on the same source!. What is it, MTV!? FM radio!? Give me a break! Change your point of view and search high and low!. The underground is always thriving with amazing music!. There's always at least a couple local bands (that not many know about) creating amazing stuff!. Depends what type of music you are referring to!!. There is plenty of choice so as far as I'm concerned, I just ignore the crap!. The crap stuff will always be around as long as there are crap composers so we'll just have to live with it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I listen more to techno and music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's than anything else so I am just taking a wild guess, but maybe it's because musicians today don't put alot of feeling into it!. I mean if they wrote the song (or helped write it) it's a high chance that it has their feeling in it and the music sounds Awesome! If they don't sing a song that has their feeling in it, the song's not gonna sound so good!. Some musicians just depend on machines to help their voices, and then they lip sync at concerts!. Some depend on looks!. I guess their are more of those types of musicians today than there were before!. Most music today is just looked at in different opinions though, some might love it some might hate it!. Personally I just jam out to whatever, but I like techno and the music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most of what is thrown at us is considered commercial by the studios, so they keep chucking it out!.

I saw McFlyon TV last night - they now have their own studio and label, which means their output is going to be top-notch!. They will be able to spend as much time as they like working in their studio - going over a bunch of cords as many times as they like until it's perfecto!.
