There are no 4 string guitars!.

Each instrument is different in what it does and how its played!.

Head down to your local guitar shop and ask someone to demo each!. Watch how its played!.

If you are looking for that ripping solo out front then you want a guitar!.

If you want to hold down the beat then go with a bass!.

Neither is 'easier'!. Each has its own techniques for playing!. Both require practice and more practice!.

i think it would be bass because if you're just beginning you'll be able to play it quickly since you dont need to learn how to strum and just by plucking you'll be able to play a song!.

but on the other hand it would also be good to play electric cause you'll be able to do solos and play rhythm guitar, it's actually up to you what you want to do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
