If you have a Bfootjoint!.!.!. the lowest note is a B natural, one note below Middle C!. If you have a Cfootjoint!.!. the lowest note is a C natural or Middle C!. The highest note on both flutes that can arguably be played is the F three octaves above the Low C!.!.!. or middle C on the piano!. The notes in that highest octave are call altissimo register!. PSS!. Not everyone can play the notes in the altissimo register!. It takes a lot of strengh and control of the lips and embouchure But if you would like to try your skill at getting those higest notes out :)!. The lowest note - middle C!. Some flutes can go to the B below that note!. This is dependent on something called a B foot joint, which not all flutes have!.

The highest note - usually given as the A sitting on top of the fourth ledger line above the treble staff!. Higher than that is possible, but it depends on player skill - as mentioned, the D or even E above it is possible, but is surely difficult!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

As a flute player, The highest note is a D which is about 6 bar lines above and the lowest is a B which is like 1 or 2 bar lines below!. All of this of course is on a regular closed hole Flute!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
