Question: How to read guitar scales!?
I found a site that shows an entire fretboard for each scales and I'm not sure how to read it!. After looking for a while i figured out you probably have to start from the root note and finish to the next root note!. also i saw that it was all a sequence of 8 notes in between each root notes!. Am i right, and is there something else i need to know to read these scales!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

You are dead right!. In each scale, their are 7 notes and the 8th note is the repetition of the first but one octave higher!.

Their are 2 1/2 octave range on a guitar!. There is no special way to read b-cuz the scale of the guitar is mostly written for 2 octave exercises!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
